Forgive me for I am about to rant.

I remember there was a time where ethanol blended fuels at the level of 10% were being portrayed as the root of all evil in the motoring world. To this day I still have colleagues and friends and even a step father asking me why I run e85 occasionally. The majority ask me this because they tell me that ethanol will clog and eat your Injectors and will eat away at your fuel tank (not lines but the tank itself). Now as most of you will know the corrosive properties of the ethanol in e10 are virtually zero and at this concentration it's basically just an octane booster. But this doesn't stop the stories spreading. I have a colleague whom used to work for the nrma say that almost all failures in modern cars are due to e10. The burden of proof doesn't lie on me it lies with the person making up the accusation. It annoys me to no end when people say prove me wrong when throwing around stuff but we should be asking of them to prove me right using the correct scientific method. Not here's a camshaft it ran full syn, cams are ruined, it's full syns fault.
