The camshaft fear is from back in 2 valve, OHV daysOhv engines run STUPID stiff springs to get all that weight away and let the valve close. So if an engine oil had low zinc it round its cams in no time.It was more of a bad engine, than bad oil

And the result is exactly what is seen in the photos. 1

This will solve the problem as small rollers (like a Expensive Daewoo VN V6) don't really like cast iron but a large roller as on the e-series never causes problems. A medium sized roller with poor hardening might just cause issues sometimes.
