I honestly believe that the smoke was coming from the HRC red goo stuff I put on the back of the pads to stop the squeal.Rotors were skimmed before these pads were put on. The Bendix ultimates were brand new when I put them in.No resin from previous pads other wise I would have shudder again. The brakes are working fine and I have not had issues. I just want to change the brake fluid just to be on the safe side.
