Ok so we started a basic reno downstairs a few weeks back, the plan is to turn one half of the shed into a fifth bedroom for our daughter and one day can be a dedicated home theatre type room

so the catch was, Dani designed it all and I built it ( how can this go wrong right lol ) but we did it and for a first time doing something like this it's come up alright we think

so this is how it went

the area

this included new ceiling white and skirtings painted where they were timber colour

all in all think it went ok, about to fit out the room with a split system A/C and mount the TV on the wall and get it all sorted for the little princess :)

Looks good.  Nothing like the satisfaction of doing the job yourself.

great result Jet

you and Fluff could go into business together.

why did you not take it out to where the roller door is?

you could have gained that extra meter and had a window for light.

I was kinda curious about this bit myself...but I guess it's one of those things that if they were to sell the place in the future then they could still convert it back to a garage/shed if needed, where as if they brought it out to where the roller door is and made it a window etc then that becomes harder.

I could also be way off...
