So this is day 4 of the painters being here. There was 2 of them on Monday, 3 of them on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 4 of them for today and tomorrow. So far they've only gotten the master bedroom, ensuite, WIR, study and entrance. They've just rolled the ceiling in the living/kitchen/dining. Not convinced they're gonna be finished by end of tomorrow.

 

And to give you an idea why it's taking them so long, this poor house has been rather abused. Check it all this patch work they had to do just on this wall alone:

 

 

Sooooo glad I'm paying other people to do this and didn't try doing it myself!

Been doing renovations for most of my working life. It's all about the prep.

It's the sh¡t part of the job but definitely the most important.

We bought this one from Snooze, King size in a light beige colour.

 

Not sure why its not on their website.

 

As for strength, it has 10 legs, 4 on the edges and 6 in the middle.

 

Very happy with it, probably the sturdiest bed we have owned.

Funnily enough we were looking at that bed at snooze... we shook the headboard on it and it wobbles like feck... maybe they aren't as strong anymore :/

The issue we have is how the head bird connects with the base itself. Two of our beds have snapped in that spot due to.... vigorous... activities [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Jet even made up custom brackets for our last bed pre empting it and they still fecked out.
I guess it's not meant for daily flogging [emoji23]
