Finally got around to making a work bench n shelves for the garage. Just need to wait for the tax man to come and buy me a new tool box.

What's everyone's thoughts on this for a staircase ?

I like it. I like that it didn't detract from the openness of the space. Staircases can sometimes close off that particular area, where as that style doesn't. You did lose the storage capacity under the stairs, but not a big deal if you've got plenty elsewhere.

how do timber stairs and socks go together>? hahah

 

I do like the openness it creates though very fancy
