Never thought about only doing partial in the ensuite toilet. Just discussed with the missus and we are thinking of now using our feature tile from the rest of it as a horizontal divider at about tit height or maybe just above the cistern... Tiler said he was advised that the builder require us to pay them for ensuite extras, but that beyond that they will turn a blind eye during the tiling stage. Massive win, tiler is 1/3 the price and it will all be done before we move in! He's got a 2 week gap before his next job so it works out nicely. We might put that offset squares style shelving up later above the stove top bench, either side of the rangehood that will be going in. I don't like the idea of big dark cubpoards closing in the kitchen space, so we think that would be a good trade off of having extra storage space but not being imposing. 2
