Unless it's not changing past second gear while it's inside your new home or while completing a shed skid in your new shed then this is the wrong place for it mate [emoji106]

PS no overhead cupboards in ours Fluff, got chopped when we were in design stage and counting pennies.  Will have to make do with the extra under bench space from extending the island and cook top areas all the way to the wall.

To be fair stever the new kitchen im designing has no overheads either... I find ours intrude on the space far too much as it is ...

As ive said im knocking out a laundry wall to extend the 3x3.1 kitchen by another 1.5 x3....

The existing layout is fine and its all fine but I am fussy lmao.

If anything I plan to have a wood style thick couple of shelves with recipe books and some vintage kitchen scales etc on them to make it homely...

This is also a design im playing with

To be fair, you do have a rather large amount of bench space. Definitely needs more durry butts in the pantry though...

Why dont you extend the island to the wall and put the sink in the island. I gather the family room is in front of the island
