The external gate is vband mounted to the manifold just before the T4 flange on the rear housing.

The rear housing on the turbo is not connected in any way to the 'gate.

If I was to go back to stock, who gives a fark what makes it pass, really... If I am to go the way I'm going, I only require one more test (emissions) for the engineer to sign it off. The most difficult one to pass, it seems.

The turbo has a v-band rear housing. It's way bigger than a stock rear housing to accommodate the massive turbine attached to a GT42 Engineer is already happy with this.
