like I said earlier, money is there now... willingness to put in the work/effort/time is now the concern.

No stamp duty - it's only on transfer, not a new rego

For a transfer of rego from one state to another, it appeared to me that I had to pay stamp duty... maybe now that the NSW rego has lapsed for quite some time, it'll just be like newly registering a car. I think that this process has stamp duty attached, doesn't it?

You basically treat a transfer from NSW (or other) to VIC like a "new" rego in Victoria (hence the RWC requirement specifically for Victoria) and a "transfer" in Victoria all bundled into one (hence the stamp duty)

At least that's what I found out a couple of years ago when I bought the car haha.

I'm with others, really not THAT much left for you to do. The sooner you do it the sooner you can post skids and the sooner we'll all find something to hassle someone else about...no doubt probably me, for pics of my girlfriend...f*ckers [emoji12]

Pics of Dans fg ffs

Someone much wiser than me once said "The longest journey begins with a single step".

The creation of this thread was that step so lets keep moving forward with the car.

It looks like you guys worked out a work sheet yesterday & last night - awesome - so it looks like enclosing the fuel system could be the go.. Simple enough and I'm sure you've already pictured in your head exactely how you want it done so grab the materials needed during your lunch break.

A 'personal' question if I may

Do you have a license?

I've had a plan on what's needed to be done (fuel system enclosure is already done) for around 2 years... Yes, I have a license.
