hahaha. I am glad you can afford to do that.

Tell us what the weak link is after the event, so I know what to upgrade as well.

:P

Haha, well being a manual I have it down to the following

Half shafts

Diff

Driveshaft

Gearbox and engine should be a-ok, driveline will take most of the beating

I will get the twin bush set-up welded in the back and then the IRS is pretty much as bulletproof as it's going to get. The Opt 5 twin plate is the weak point after that....then the tailshaft.

My skinny rods and stock oil pump are also the issue and need to survive their fourth Powercruise!

Grudge racing sounds fun, keen for that!!

If the money I just spent on maintenance was instead spent on go fast bits I think I'd be in the low tens and do some real nice speeds at RW17.  Sigh.

You still have the stock ba turbo rods with 400+kW don't you@IH8TOADS. Have you considered doing the spool rods with standard piston combo for the peace of mind. I'm worried about my stock el rods holding up to 1000m runs when I turn it up to 450+kW wish my piston had floating gudgeon pin so I could put rods in easy without having to go full built.

Don't worry about his rods, ask him what his static compression figures are like...

8.5:1? Definetly needs more I think. Or do you mean cylinder pressure. My motor has done 350000+km his rings have to be in better cond then mine haha

^^ mad bugger haha. I thought I was keen.

I re-tested the compression with Tony when I thought Inhad bent a rod and it came back at 180 to 185 so I reckon there was an issue with the last gauge I was using.

Rods have crossed my mind a lot!! I really just need to get a motor built and ready to drop in. One day!!
