No leaks at all, from anywhere, seemed to be solid advice.  Over on AL they posted that out of about 55 cars, 20 failed, mostly for simple sh*t that is written in the regulations.

 

Next Saturday is going to be very busy if the rest of the Perth based entrants all rock up.  Beware.  They had almost no cars arrive after 2pm if I interpreted the posts right.

They had my car for 45mins,and called out over full engine oil.... That's the level they are going down to this year. 

 

Also make your fire extinguishers have a secondary latch securing them to the holder. 

 

Tyres, brakes, suspension  all need to be spot on. Fit for purpose is the mantra.

Yep seen no one else really arrive after me at 2pm I only waited 10 mins they grabbed my car had it for 45 then I loaded it back on and headed home. My mate was one of the first there with his at 7am and didn't get it looked at till 11am.... glad I went up later really.

Edit: also made it onto the motive DVD live stream that brad was doing as I rocked up. He says that must have a Barra in it because no way would you race an N/A el falcooon hahaha.

Shame his 33R isn't ready this year!  Would have loved to sit passenger for a run or two.

What's the Go with the whole passenger thing? Can anyone do it or do they need to purchase a passenger ticket etc?

With the other 200 cars.  I can't see how they have allocated enough days with 45 minute examinations.
