That entry includes a free inspection so seems fine to me along with insurance costs etc for the event.  I'd be annoyed if I was out of town on both dates though and had to pay for my one and only inspection.

 

 

PS the 3L can is only needed if you vent to atmosphere, get it plumbed back in to intake might be easier?

so I spotted(this week) some work being done to a car that will be heading to RW.

The rear suspension arms were being replaced with some serious gear and the 315 wide rims that were going on the rear were quite IMPRESSIVE!!!

I was asking if they were going to fit.

 

There is going to be some serious contenders at RW this year. not long to go now. hope everyone gets their cars sorted out.

315 will surely grip.  Iam only interested in the 1000m , so off the line grip not that important.  

 

60 foot doesn't affect mph that much over 400m  so should affect 1000m even less.

Bummer , not what I expected, thought it would be packed, sucks I had to work.

 

Sorting the final touches on the cars tomorrow and inspections next week..

Based on some very loose attendance data, either rw is going to be very quite or the scrut team are going to be very busy in the final weeks

I checked to see if I could get a ticket about 4 months ago and it was "sold out" so I didn't bother.

 

I haven't taken notice of this event before rw17 so it will be interesting to see if it does have full attendance.

It's said that about 120 cars that are yet to turn up at all, odds of even half of those appearing in the next 3 weeks are slim!

 

More track time for the rest of us subsidised by them (no refunds!), though I lament the likely reduction in variety, not to mention cars that are slower than mine hahaha.  I'll need a power boost just to keep up appearances!

 

Still won't be enough to save me from getting smashed by this thing though I suspect.  Keen to see it run the strip - and this is what I really love about Racewars, random combos amongst exotics, race cars and daily drivers.
