for pc?

Yeah man.

Assetto Corsa has been out since 2014 and that's pretty good. These racing simulators are a lot different than the old arcade style games.

You do need a steering wheel etc to make the most of it. A beasty pc goes a long way too but you can still have a good experience with a mid range system.

And you're only 8 seconds slower than Puff?

Great effort despite the handicap

A lot safer than pretending in the real world and having your wife cursing at you to slow down cos she is being tossed all over the place [emoji39]

Definitely.

2nd hand Logitec G25, 27, 29 or 920 would be a perfect start.

G29 and G920 are the latest (G29 also works with the PS4, G920 with the XBox One).

They're basically the same as the G27 with cosmetic differences and console support, but don't come standard with the gear shifter (need to use flappy paddles unless you get the shifter as well). G27 and 29 have led rev/shift lights on the wheel, 920 doesn't.

If PC only the G27 may be the best option (cheaper, same as the newer ones and comes with stick shift)

Have actually got a G27 and racing seat setup I'd be happy to lend you for a couple of weeks if you wanted to give it a try.
