That was the worst of the lot AFAIC Vista was pretty bad compatibility wise but I was able to use it. 8 didn't come close to those two in dreadfulness and 8.1 did a lot to solve some niggles. Am happy with 10, and as @johnxr6t said - moving forward seems to be incremental updates rather than new OS's 1
