10 is to 8 like 7 was to Vista. Second time lucky. I too went 7 to 10, 8 was a joke.


based on that next release will be a shocker, pattern goes right back to 95 pretty much it actually takes them twice as long as it appears to develop a product....

That was the worst of the lot AFAIC

 

Vista was pretty bad compatibility wise but I was able to use it.

8 didn't come close to those two in dreadfulness and 8.1 did a lot to solve some niggles.

 

Am happy with 10, and as @johnxr6t said - moving forward seems to be incremental updates rather than new OS's

Yeah I recall hearing that now you mention it.  Probably get you hooked on the base model then charge for updates.

yer put gta on there, and from what I heard thank god I did

 

havent got a new game since to put on normal hard drive

waste a PCI-e 16x slot for your SSD interface ;) haha

 

Even SATA SSD's are kilometers above on the speed scale :P
