Who would have thought jumping in and out of an engine bay would be so much fun?! All done and torqued to spec :declare:

Like the diesel guys in the US. Bloody need ladders to access their engines. Then you got bubba laying down on top of the head balls deep trying to get a wrench down to god  knows where.

I had it on axle stands that were maxed out, so was using a milk crate to get a leg over. Almost had the bonnet latch bite me in the ball sack :roflmbo:

It should be done in a couple of weeks but will need to get through a run in period to make sure it's reliable. Also given that I'm gonna send it again, it may well be broken again by November.

Are you putting it back on E85 or just the 98oct with the DP water meth kit?

Easier to work on the car without the engine in there!

Forgot to add fwiw Steve Morris Engines quickly showed a billet sump (main caps included) and head porting for the barra in his latest YouTube video this morning. Hopefully he'll cover it some more with information...

I've already got a good high boost E85 timing map, so I'll run it on E85 to start with to dial in the boost control. Once that is done I'll swap to 98 and dial in the boost control and timing for 98. Then I'll add the water meth and dial in the fuel, timing and boost control for that.

After it's run in and tuned, I'll have it on E85 for all motorsports events and just run 98 with water meth the rest of the time.
