Would love to be there, Living in Brissy makes it a tad to hard to get there and back safely with the time I could get off work. I have to drive to Sydney and back this weekend as it is to pick up my daughters first car, a little green VW beetle.

200kms of awesome roads.

50% tight and twisty, not getting out of third gear, some sections won't see you out of second, 50% long sweeping bends at hwy speeds, perfect mix of both  :spit:

Gotta agree with the big fella. That road we took across the top of the ranges on the way up last year was as good as any you will find

Fav roads to travel....

Local circuit :stupid: perferably around 11 to midnight along the beach at the National Park

Hinterland Sunshine Coast - the runs around Woodford, Maleny etc and to Toowoomba

NSW - the coffs cruise is still one of the BEST highlights of car events, some of those roads were AWESOME, check with lumpy exactly where... :spit:

From memory that is all strait, if you had of said the unrestricted piece of road south of Alice, I would have understood.

Scotty

PS Of course I could be wrong.

In all seriousness the piece of road south of Alice is flat and windy, and in the cool air of early morning in a V8, there is not much better.

I must say I am abit disapointed with all the comments on the favourite bits of road all being strait. Me thinks Dodge Rams will be the go in here soon.

Yes the M1 can be fun when doing 200km/h racing a ute, but that was along time ago in the dark and stupid days.
