Anywhere in Tassie lots of twisty roads there but in particular around the hills around Queenstown, freezing cold air the best twisty roads anywhere. Around SE Qld going up Mt Mee from south to North is great.

I must say I am abit disapointed with all the comments on the favourite bits of road all being strait.

Well maybe that tells you something about the handling of the BA/BF huh???

Fact is they are heavy ... they are long wheelbase rear drive front engined sedans ... they have relatively soft springs and the factory shocks aren't meant to last more than the drive out of the showroom.

To really get the best out of one of these cars you would need to throw about two to three biggies at the suspension. All the engine mods in the world won't improve anything except the SS400m times.

If I had one my fav road would be the Nullabor ....

Yes the M1 can be fun when doing 200km/h racing a ute, but that was along time ago in the dark and stupid days.

I have only driven RWD large family cars, mainly XR variants so I cannot really compare. Having said that they handle reasonably well, and you dont have to through thousands at them. The upgraded sway bars are the best band for buck mod there is.

NSW - The Putty Road. Mmmm, bends!

TAS - Elephant Pass. Scary, but fun, great to get the adrenaline pumping.

If it must be a straight road (like all you other wimps) then...

Gotta say I don't mind pulling the boat along the F6 from Sydney - Newcastle. Great feeling having it surging along pulling a heavy load with ease.
