That's what I pulled out of me tyre. Bloody hard time pulling that out. Havnt jumped under it yet to see where it's from but I'm presuming tailshaft due to the new vibration

Yup, that usually sits under the cv mounting bolts on the diff.

I'm hoping that's the only one missing. Ute is parked up till I get a chance to get under it. Cv is only 6 months old.
You rekon tramp has caused this? Coz I have another bent axle due to tramp. Got a few parts coming to make me some tramp rods

How bent is your axle?

My car tramped at the drags a while ago and it tore all of my stock diff bushes and I suspect that is what bent my driver side axle. I did replace the diff bushes with superpro polylast afterwards and maybe that could have bent it on the road due to greater shock loading.

I didn't notice it until much later and it didn't affect the drivability either.

I have a Ute so no diff bushes for me. Havnt put my Dial gauge on it yet but it's enough that it squeaks were taking off and. Surface rust rubbed off half of the disk when moving it in the driveway with no brakes.
