And you only pay for the software once, not on a per tune basis.as for the rest, not sure.

You have to keep updated or else you run out of "flash burns" which decrement everytime you upload a tune to a box..So technically if you avoid updating your ADvantage 3 software, you will run out of flash counters, and be forced to do a update if you want to reset your flash counter to flash more boxes..

They'll capture the market quite easily if SCT's strategy is as described.There will be plenty of tuning shops annoyed with this situation and will look elsewhere for another tuning solution.
