CAPA & SCT are dogs... CAPA for ripping their supplier off & SCT for taking the completely wrong course in trying to rectify the situation.

If something isn't done to lessen the costs of purchasing the Flash 3 I definitely wont be buying one and I'm sure I wont be alone!

I just got my Flash 2 about 4 weeks ago :stickpoke:

I think a certain SCT distributor is annoyed they are not moving enough of their $850 trade price X3 units imo and have whinged to SCT about cheap X1 and X2 boxes on the market.

So what do you pay for the flashes...or should I say what did you pay for the flashes? What would be a fair price now, considering the current problems? Be interesting to see what it is worth to chase the answers to this problem...

Don't hold your breath. I just received an email from Herrod Motorsport stating they are now the official SCT distributor in Australia. The X1 and X2 have been discontinued effective immediately. You must pay whatever the price is for the X3 box, but wait, it has more features than the previous boxes thus you should appreciate what has been done hahaha.

Thus, dare I suggest you send your concerns to Herrod Motorsport.

Visit this site this site was recommended by dept of fair trading to.

just had a quick chat with office of fair trading nsw ,as far as they are concerned it sounds dodgey but the first place I was told to seek refund ,replacement or such from the original place of purchase ,mine was bought from c&v and it would be for them to chase their supplier and so on to get their re imbursment

I think all you tuners may want to get together real quick and get some legal advise
