1.60 has been done in a manual with basic mods a long time ago! Youngy was running 1.70 60's back in the day as well.....both manual ute's. Spiro's car is built for drag racing....I'm expecting some pretty impressive 60 ft's and 1.66 ain't there yet! Very early days though. Headsex makes some very valid tuning points as usual. I would have thought you would have an OBDII logger and wideband logger set-up and recording each run? Data paints a much prettier picture than a dyno graph!

Are you making a point of following me around handing out criticism or am I just reading too much into it? Last time I checked, it was a lot easier to build boost with a GT35 than a GT42 with big ar rear housing, and I'm sure they didn't do it in 6 passes either. I will now leave the thread up to you Spiro, you may be able to deal with all the know it alls much better than me mate, seems there are plenty of experts around here, I'm sure with all their advise we'll be running 6's soon its so easy hey lol. I'll get back in the shed workin on the car and let her do the talking over the coming weeks, better get my arse into gear though as it seems people think its all too easy, better try and live up to all the expectation!! :roflmbo:

Thanks for the help today Danny, greatly appreciated, look forward to working with you to bring the capabilities of the stock ecu up to where they need to be for us;)

I'm no expert but is a 1.6 60 footer on test day with first outing not doing well?? it's only faster from here I would hope.

Also can you please share the basic mods you can do to get a car to run a 1.6 with over 1000hp and 17000Nm of torq to keep pulling 2 tone of car into the 10's and 9's...8's. Because these mods would save kyle and Envy a lot of time.. that's just my thoughts but im a no one.

LOL

I reckon 1.6 is f*cking epic in a Manual... ESP with 2 f*cking tonnes!!!

Especially first time out with the setup...

Is it just me... Or do most guys (embarrassingly) think they can just go out and run 10's/9's/8's... With no issues along the way???

Remember how long it took to crack the first 10 in an auto?

And then a 9...

And then an 8...

Manuals are only just seriously really starting to be modified to drag in these cars...

I would be happy to run a 12.8, not to mention with only two gears! LOL :roflmbo:

If you build it, the times will come...

Mmmm touchy. Was aimed at *Beep* and the fact that 1.6 is achievable and most likely you'll smash it in time...that's my short version. Not my scene...catchya.

worm there are too many on here that think they know everything but really they know stuff all. :roflmbo:

I struck this in the early days with my sound system mods and it hasn,t changed much.

As for spiro and bev :innocent::roflmbo: theyy are pushing the limits and this takes time effot and money and a team of good people to help get to there goals.

it is an honor to be around people like them although I have not met bev just seeing what these blokes are doing is amazing. :innocent:
