Ok I would say that we are 70% ready and that should be enough for tomorrow's testing.

I cannot thank Jamie@FPT & 6Boost & Headsex for his help enough for the time and effort they have put in the old girl, overcoming the Stage 5+ Atomic cams has proven to be easier said than done when coupled with the headwork and massive increase in airspeed and flow especially on the exhaust side of things.

Faced with the dramas of very high boost and the factory CPU not wanting to play that game under load in high gears we decided to take a different approach for the second set of testing so that we may overcome this problem. Basically we dropped the Roo and decided to give the E90 (thanks Bev) a crack so that we can compare apples with apples. Prelimanery testing has proven that it fairs very well thus far, I say thus far because we haven't been able to lean on the old girl because we ran out of injector & fuel flow early in the piece, so timing and boost is very moderate indeed.

In a nutshell the new revised 7 angle valve job coupled with the extra clever headwork & Stage 5+ is proving to be a new beast all together. Now listen carefully 0% duty cycle in the wastegate otherwise known as wide open spring pressure the old girl spat out a peak 1108Hp @ a peak 25 to 26psi before we ran out of fuel even that was at 12.5 afr's & 80psi through the reg Atomic

My initial calculations state a minimum of 30% gain over the old configueration utilising a stable test platform with the only changes being the fuel......... Same Turbo Albeit top secret as before and same dyno for testing...

We will wind it back a little and continue testing at the track tomorrow before we change the fuel system and injectors yet again and really wind the old girl up as we progress

Well, after final preparation and checking the team has decided that we are not quite ready for today The problems we are facing are 1. Jamie & Kyle are not comfortable running 1100hp out the back door with 12.5 afr's, surely, and as it has happened many a times before to others the increase in actual load and lower/higher pressure's at the track could easily cause a major (engine) issue at 250+k's

2nd reason is that rain is forecasted for 6.30pm so prepping the car around 4 hours & removing wastegate springs to try and lower boost when I have 2000cc injectors sitting on the shelf is also not logical The extra time gained by running on Saturday or next Wednesday will allow for the prompt rectification of the fuel system and creation of multiple boost and timing level tunes as well, so that we can be in a more complete car capable of testing at multiple levels in one day

The team and I humbly apologise if this development has dissapointed anyone that's racing unfortunately
