I tweaked some muscle in my lower back playing around with my dog yesterday; annoying... it's only mild, but annoying... will see how it goes at the gym this evening.

Ended up catching the flu so the deload went for a bit longer than planned.

 

Got back into it yesterday with the high rep stuff again and it's going good. Strength is ok, stamina has suffered but will recover in a week or so after a whole bunch of eating.

 

Haha looking forward to see how far I can go before I need to back off again.

It varies but at the 6 to 8 week mark of progressive overload you should be aware of and look for signs that you're accumulating too much fatigue.

My 5yo daughter comes up to me and tells me she can do push-ups. She then proceeds to do 2 sets of 20 push-ups.
