Routed the wiring loom and plugged half of it in.

Farken fiddly sh*t.

Once again I'm reminded how much I dislike working on cars nowadays.

I didn't quite finish it off but got most of it done. There was more to do there than I remember lol.

All that's left to do is swap the thermostat housing as the egas one doesn't have a fitting on it for the little hose, fit cooler piping and bumper and top up the trans.

It runs just like any motor would I spose. No funny noises etc. It also fired right up once it was primed so that was nice.

All done. I took it down the street and back and it's all good but I've got 3km range showing on the dash cos I was getting ready to swap it to 98 last time I used it. Lucky for me the closest 98 servo is a 40km round trip so it looks like I'l be taking the van.

It was this a couple of days ago...

Haha yep.

I went to the local servo and grabbed 10 litres of 91 in a jerry for just in case.

Then I drove to the other servo to get 98. It reckoned that I had 0km for about 15km but I made it. I fit 63 litres at the first click.

I loaded a low boost 98 tune while I was filling up and drove home with the scanner running.

It needs fixing up but I cbf tuning today, I've had enough car fixing to last me a year lol.

Pulled my finger out, went tuning.

Made a few small changes and had a good result.

I'll definitely have to have a closer look at it and put some effort into it to suit the new motor.
