Sorry blokes.. I get the circumstances change when kids turn up etc.. But you go into an industry you work the hours of the industry.. I didn't work 9am-5pm as a baker.. We did 10pm - 8am then 2pm-5pm prep for the next night. Interview someone for a job who said the night shift didn't work for them, they got told they weren't suitable for the position.Dags case where the old gal has put in for holidays and then they changed their minds is a bit friggin rude.. Especially since she obviously knew to put in for holidays early if she wanted time off over that period.. 1
BenDoCo I'm getten too old for this s**t Legacy Donating Member 4,509 Member For: 13y 3m 28d Gender: Male Location: A big bridge over a river in South Australia Posted 12/11/14 11:39 AM Posted 12/11/14 11:39 AM (edited) Back when I ran a ( little....hehe ) pub here in Radelaide, family always came first on xmas day.I would make sure that staff with kids - under 10 - didn't work the 2 hours pubs are allowed to be open in the morning and under 16 (but only if possible) didn't work in the night club on xmas night.Only ever paid them the normal amount but 'free drinks till ya fell over' once we closed and "staff drinks" were on.One year, that added up to 7 & a half grand..................should of seen me trying to explain that to my boss.Edit.None of that really pmo but it's gunna be 40 tomorrow and that does Edited 12/11/14 11:49 AM by BenDoCo
