As much as I've whinged and hated Foxtel in the past, they've finally (regardless of how they did it and how wrong it is that they have the monopoly) got to the point where what they offer in regards to motorsport is actually worth the price.

Month by month, no contract and they have everything I want and far more. Also isn't tied to a set top box/telly. Stream to the lappy if I'm out and about, away for the weekend or even at the track.

The coverage of the GT's and muscle cars etc is just the cherry on the top

Put it on last week and have been watching classic V8 races in the background as I work.

Just checking over my car before a drive, went to lock it and and there was a grinding coming from the left hand door.

Went around to the door and locked the car again and the door isn't locked.

Lucky me.

Took the door trim off and disconnect the door handle so you can't open the door from the outside.

Now to Fleebay

I grabbed a 4 pack of repair bits for a low price on fleabay, maybe $40. Electric motor and the white cog that snaps. I used one worm drive so far to fit into the existing assembly. I do notice it makes a "brr" noise now but I can live with it.

Still being drunk from last night

I matched jet for drinks, by the time we got to the last pub at 1.30 I had downed 11 jd &cokes ... Can't remember the amount consumed at the last pub but we were there til lights on at 4am so I dare say it wasn't just a couple lmao

Had a good one though....

Had a ride in a rickshaw around the cbd, played basketball at 1am and enjoyed the fringe, went to some good pubs, taxi home was actually not bad

And somehow I managed to make nachos at 4am and ate three chips before realising it was spicy as f*ck and then just skulled some milk and fell asleep

I had a whisky and cigars night last night, found some nice single malts (Glengoyne 15yr in particular, also fantastic with R&J cigars...yummy). I'm still fairly new you drinking whisky, so learning as I go. Was a good night, wasn't crazy drunk...but still not feeling 100% today though, so that's pissing me off.

I do miss smashing a min of 8 a night though. :(

why would anything have changed?

v8 supercars are the only addition that I know of and it's definitely better (less advertisements, in HD and all practices/qualifying/races for all categories across all days for all events all year).
