Many many comments could be made on the different aspects of it

But what intrigues me is how it's consistently claimed "execution is NOT a deterrent blah blah blah"

Not saying "it is a deterrent because they can't do it anymore etc" like all the mouth breathers like to explain

And not saying that I support execution either because I don't

What really gets me going is that they are going to execute them, but yet they have drug dealers on their streets operating infront of the ops. Yet the do nothing about those drug dealers?

I agree with Luke that in a sense I am over the media frenzy and just want it over and done with.

At the same time, if we were in their situation, how would we feel? Is drug dealing punishable by death?

Killing your family members would stop you for a while, but sooner or later you would get back into it.

Only way to stop it, is to stop the demand.

TO be fair I do believe that these blokes were aware of the risk and they were aware of the reward. THey took a chance and it bit them in the arse. Not saying it was a very smart gamble but it was one they took.

I can't stand how the media is making heroes out of criminals lately (Even shows like underbelly are turning criminals into heroes). But while I think they have it coming I also must not say the death penalty delights me in any shape or form.. Solely because if I look at it as imagine if that was someone I actually knew. Imagine if that was my sister/wife/son that made the sh*t choices that got them being lined up to be shot.

I also feel sorry for them because with how long this has dragged out I imagine that I would have been screaming in court 'ARE YOU GOING TO f*ckING KILL ME OR NOT ALREADY!'..

Kudos to those guys for not hanging themselves during the waiting period.
