As an aside visited the folks last week, they weren't home so had to wait.

Snake leisurely sunning itself of the veranda. Identified as a Whip Snake.

That said supposed to be a nervous reptilian. Hmmm this one didn't give a fark.

Not brave enough to approach closer than 3 feet.Snake didn't move.

Spent 5 days as non communicating chums.

That said there are all manner of snakes on the property. Birds, native rodents,

and other reptiles provide an attraction.

Funny thing I was in Casino over the weekend and we would have spent a solid

hour + on snake stories., The more beer, the better the yarns. Good times

A whip snake can still be deadly to small animals a children....one bit my cat which is actually somewhere back in this thread......was an expensive day. We got to it quick but it causes paralysis so she was a bit mong for a couple of days...

Yup. I grew up heavily involved in a Church group and was against topics of this nature...but as I've gotten older and moved away from all that sh*t I agree that it really doesn't impact me in the slightest. If they're wired differently, or it's a choice, who gives a sh*t! It's their lives, they do what they want and what makes them happy.

Reminds me of a video of Stephen Fry answering a question regarding the idea of the God of the bible...it sums up how this negativity towards gay people etc resonates with me now.

For what it's worth I think Christians have their right to an opinion about it.. But I also think gay people should have a right to be married..

But.. Should they attempt to legislate that gay people can get married in a church.. Well I might actually take the side of the christians in that one.. Not out of any real ethical thing..
