WPMOT

Get home after a 4+ hour drive back from seeing the better half out in the country, get home and say hi to the father in law just as his medium/large dog starts jumping up clawing at me cause it's too excited and they never trained the poor fcking thing properly...close the hallway door in a hurry so I can unload my car/put work gear back in in peace. Turns out the FIL thinks I "stormed out" and now HE is angry at ME and slamming doors, sticks my dog up this end of the house with me for good measure, slams the door again. Can't go and reason with the cnt because he sinks a bunch of beers EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and is paranoid everyone is out to get him in one way or another (deep issues behind it) and will never see reason. I know this because I tried to talk to him last time he flipped out (over something he 100% imagined) and got nowhere.

His whole family walk on eggshells around him for fear of setting him off especially when he's been drinking. He's done me a solid favour letting me stay here for cheap and cooking meals so I'll thank him sincerely for that, but I can't stay here when he's such a head fck.

All I wanted was to come back to the house and f*cking relax after close to ten hours of driving this weekend before I have to go back to work this week. Fcking fail. :rant2:

I'm getting the hell out of here ASAP!

:bs:

I like the way you think hahaha...

On the plus side moving out means a chance to shorten work commute so that's something at least.

If only we'd signed to build a year ago I could be in my own place right now :/

Missus wants me to try and last the 4 or 5 weeks until her mum is back, it was going OK until she left for Europe and he had issues with passport and got stuck here. He was OK this morning so maybe I'll try to stick it out in the interests of keeping things amicable. He'll be sure to get offended at me moving out.

I should read Catch 22.
