Because calibration of an engine management system requires more than a quick pull to give a prudy number. 

 

Engines are held for hours and hours at fix rpm and load points during development.

id say it was more to do with r&d testing not a dyno engine run for max power.

Once you have tuned 100s of the same car a few quick pulls is all it needs. 

 

Doubt every demon has an individual tune 

once the tune is configured the work is done and all cars get the same.
