The driver had tried to avoid them all, then this little one just walked straight out in front of the tyre.

We actually discussed what it would have been like going to the pub for dinner. We concluded that it's better to stay home and spend about $20 to serve 6 of us than to pay over $100 to chase the bloody kids around all night.
