Plumbers came and went
$950 later we don't have pooh floating under our patio
Yay
Cos mother in-law comes to stay tomorrow for a couple of weeks
Also sourced some timber to fix the holes I had to cut in the patio for access.
One hole fixed, one to go

Mrs BCB was in tears on Wednesday night, cos freaking out cos her mom is here Saturday and there were 2 holes in the deck, pooh everywhere and no sun-lounges

today we have sewerage pipe all fixed, new covers on the sun lounges and one of 2 holes fixed

I can imagine that would have been stressful...and stinky. I don't think I've seen you that annoyed before but thankfully it all came together.

Haha is the smell gone yet though?! :wwww:

surprisingly yes

the smell almost disappeared overnight (sewage fixed Thursday arvo)

walked out on the patio at 5 am this morning and could not smell anything

had a strangler fig tree cut and removed today which the plumber highly recommended we piss it off cos very aggressive sewage pipe lover and was right next to the main sewage line

when I was investigating the stump this arvo I got a slight wiff of pooh but haven't smelt anything since

and yes, very stressful having a backed up sewer main with liquid pooh everywhere

I know them feels and them smells.

My septic (now removed) backed up once and I had my arm down the pipe with a garden hose to clear it.

I was going to suggest watering the smelly area but it'll probably rain soon anyway.
