yer ive got the grey box on the outside wall, and they just ran a cable underground to the pit and connected it to the cable lines. essentially its just cable in these older areas and they call in nbn lel

FTTC for me (fibre to the curb)

 

Uses existing copper for the last leg (from the pit out the front)

 

Will use the existing copper in the house so no needing to rewire anything once they hit the MDF.

Yep - and will be possible to upgrade to FTTP moving forward fairly easily.
