I would think boiling possible while it was at the drags if it was happening but seems unlikely cruising on the highway.

But if the fuel is recirculating in the surge due to low use wouldn't it be higher temp than if it was being sucked out fast under full throttle?

 

Bit hazy on this, don't own a surge.

Walbro gss294 intank pump(lift pump)

standard s/steel fuel lines to surge with an e85 compatible filter

process west surge tank with 2x walbro 460

Turbosmart Fuel pressure regulator FPR1200 V2

Standard fg fuel rail

Id 1000 injectors

Did the sound start as soon as you started the car at some point? And did it make the sound only while pumps were on?

take video of the sound if you can replicate it... if you can't replicate it, then... *shrug*
