I don't know for sure, but from an IT perspective there's no way it'd load something you didn't ask it to, so my thoughts are that it would leave the existing TCM tune in there.

Can confirm x3s are sh*te and have locked me out several times

A jump from another car and an ice pack on the unit helps

Also leaves the last tcm tune in if you skip it

No it hasnt happened since marco.

I saw ralphy about it but of course it works fine. Having a look at the setup I have gave no real reason for it to happen. Havent really given it a flogging for a while either so stuff knows whats the go.

Will be switching back to pump98 for a little while as its been on e85 for a while now. I will see if that affects anything.

maybe head down to the drags again and give it sh*t.

Then drive home and see if it happens again?

Is the drags still happening or have they closed for the season?

That is something I want to do but ive given up my job, enrolled in school so there is a bit of adjusting going on atm.

Cant risk breaking something on the car right now.

These cold nights would be great if whoop ass is still open?

Happy but not excited k31thy. Night was a shambles.bit of a hassle to get time away from commitments and to only run 3 farked passes was a piss off. Car ran it easy even with me doing everything I could to mess it up.

470 tune was loaded into it rednose.ran 133 on another pass which is still low . mentioned earlier that the xcal3 was not loading tunes into the car. Kept hanging on the unlocking ecu screen.after 1hr I could finally flash it to stock then street tune. Didnt want the hassle of trying to get the street tune loaded into it before I headed home.

Mine (xcal3) does this also and I was advised by my tuner to try and load it when the car is completely cold or if u can help it cool it down as much as possible..
Hasnt let me down and loads straight up when followed this rule..
Mine has loaded when hot but like 80% of the time will hang and same as u had to return the car to stock then reload selected tune..
Im not happy about this for a near $1000 box in 2016 it seriously isnt good enough.. All round I think its a clunky piece of sh*t for what it is/does compared to lots of other comparable piggy back ecu's..
