10 sucks hard...nothing but compatability issues when I run it. Running 8.1 these days but 7 was way better

10  FTW

I even run games that are 5, 10, 15, 20 years old on it.

The really old stuff winds up in DOS Box usually :)  eg Master of Magic from like 1992, so 24 years old!  Fark that's ages.

As mentioned above I have spent chump change on GoG website and bought copies of some games I've always meant to play, really enjoying it!  Finished V:TM - Bloodlines and had a quick go at a second vampire clan, but have just moved on to Planescape: Torment (loved Baldur's Gate 1 & 2) and it's very intriguing so far.

Baldurs Gate 2 SOA is my favourite of all time

Fired the series up again with the Beamdog reboot and extension.

I still have the cloth map from buying the game, not sure I still have the CDs though :/  Think I lent the case to a mate years ago.

Proper multiplayer and cross platform (including IOS and Android) - they did a bloody good job.

BG1tu2 was the mod I used back in the day to play BG1 with the BG2 improvements

Gatekeeper and Shadowkeeper to "tweak" my party and stats

Have still got sites bookmarked from the community years ago. Newsgroup was pretty active too - we all just shook our heads at what Blizzard were planning making with a Warcraft MMO - no way that would work - Infinity Engine and isometric games would live on forever
