so I either look for fan connections on the mother board or get fans with said iso connections.

I just used some automotive crimp connections and crimped it all together. I used the speed sensor wire off of one of the fans only.

You are asking a quite simple question which is fine as we all start at the start with everything.

 

You need to check out Linus Tech Tips on Youtube mate. Just search the channel content for your answers. 

 

From watching this channel and others like Jayztwocents, my interest was piqued to build a gaming pc that kicks ass like crazy for a just few thousand dollars including peripherals such as $800 monitor and ?$100 mouse (I already had a 500 year old keyboard and a large 5.1 speaker setup).

 

Fwiw I run all of my fans from the mobo, including my cpu cooler.

 

You could use a molex connector but generally you wouldn't.

you can always buy one of these if you have limited fan headers on the mother board

I have used mobo fan connections in the past coupled with a 2 fan controllers, one that was included  with the case, and one that came with the power supply.

I now just use the 2 fan controllers, both take up to 3 fans each, Have 5 fans in total with water cooled setup.

Did have up to 10 fans at one stage with air cooled setup!

yeah dude it looks freaking awesome and I love every part of it.

 

with the air bubbles, on our falcons the coolant reservoir is the highest point of the cooling system, this makes bleeding (in my experience) a breeze. I notice, unless im wrong that the fill point and coolant level is below the radiator which would make it a pain to bleed versus having the res and coolant level at the highest point.

 

how long is the coolant rated to last for?

They say every 6 months in a pc setup. Im not sure you'd really need to do it that often and I guess it would also depend if any additives were put in too. Notmal coolant id guess you prob wouldnt have too change it for the life of the system? 

 

If it was just distilled water then yeah change regularly coz of algae build up, but generally happens even with additives just prolonged.

I have read people using car coolant for 12 months between changes without a problem, and their water blocks were still 100% as clean as the day they were fitted.

as far as bleeding the system goes, I did run just the pump and and tipped the case in all directions which has dislodged the air lock/bubble in the GPU water block.

I know what you are saying @skidxr6t about the res being a lot lower than some other components in the system, but temps have stabilised quite good now so I think all the air is out of the system
