I could buy so many of these LG 25 inch widescreens for that!

gsync is nice but its too expensive, that monitor has a lot of good features in it though.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 34 inch samsung curved display for $799 at msy the other day. it's gone back upto $979 now.

im so tempted to put together another system, but instead im looking at some beefier cpu cooling solutions to bring my chip (quad core i5) beyond 4ghz closer to 4.5 maybe more.

If you gonna put together a system that has a GTX1080, well then you should have enough cash to buy one of those monitors.

However if you have a gtx1050, then I don't recommend that screen. ;)

Hence the reason I said that if you are serious about gaming and have a decent card, then that isn't to bad. there are other monitors with a great price tag on it.

Have a look at this list by sorting it from highest price to lowest.

By the way, that previous link to the monitor is not the monitor I have at home.

I wonder if the special is still on cause I might go down and buy a second one of these today as well as a suitable mount for both.

but it would get pooped on by the monitors with gsync and all that fruit, I can't get over how good this cheap LG looks!

give it time mate, I was in the same boat for 5 years. things seem to be settling down a bit more now, but with school starting and fees for this and fees for that, it can get over whelming when you get paid monthly........... Budget is the secret.

This isn't 144hz, but 4k

Skids?

Can you post up the various popular cpu and gpu benchmark results?

It will be good to see how all the parts complement each other.

Just suffered a heart attack.
Powered up and instant puff of white something from the graphics card.
Shut it down.
Smelt weird, not like fried electronics, more like the smell of new product.
Checked the card, no burn marks that I could find and still didn't smell like anything had cooked itself.
Very hesitantly turned it back on.............

All good [emoji3]
