I almost pulled the trigger on a 34 inch samsung curved display for $799 at msy the other day. it's gone back upto $979 now. im so tempted to put together another system, but instead im looking at some beefier cpu cooling solutions to bring my chip (quad core i5) beyond 4ghz closer to 4.5 maybe more. However if you have a gtx1050, then I don't recommend that screen. Hence the reason I said that if you are serious about gaming and have a decent card, then that isn't to bad. there are other monitors with a great price tag on it. Have a look at this list by sorting it from highest price to lowest. https://www.ple.com.au/Search.aspx?SearchString=g-sync By the way, that previous link to the monitor is not the monitor I have at home.

Budget is the secret. This isn't 144hz, but 4k https://www.ple.com.au/Products/621974/Acer-Predator-XB281HK-28-G-SYNC-2-4K-1MS-LED-Gaming-Monitor might be the better option??
