At least mobos are cheap so it won't be a big deal if you choose to replace it.

eh just didnt wana seem like a huge MSY fanboy.

but I love them, I love walking into the brightly lit store with an excellent and CLEAN showroom with plenty of things on display and with staff who are really sociable and friendly. /sarcasm

I also find it funny how they got fined by the ACCC last december but ive never ever had a single issue with warranty claims there, they've always sorted me out on the day even for things I bought a while ago. for some products it is easier to go manufacturer direct though, like corsair who will send you parts for your case for free even if you admit to breaking it.

also on another serious note, msy's online delivery for the last few orders has always been super quick and efficient. they packaged everything really well.

Nor should you. You shouldn't give your friend a fried motherboard either.

If you stuffed it up then you should pay for it. :imsohappy:

It's hardly my fault bro, the case fan was pre-installed

and the board isn't fried, it's only missing the functionality of a fan header

it will not affect the performance of the board

My friend won't even be bothered by it

Lol who built it, the tooth fairy? Did it come pre fried?

When smoke comes off the board and it loses partial or all functionality, that is the epitome of fried.
