Cheers Rab.

As previously mentioned, after seeing mixed reviews I thought best to ask here. It's a lot of money to spend on a lemon.

Looks like I'll definitely go ahead with a purchase then.

I have a couple of other questions though, (which through scrolling through this forum I couldn't see, but I could be wrong) mainly to do with the (possible) accessories.

I own an Iphone 7+ and was wondering, to use Car Play do I need to buy the wireless Car Play or does Wifi alone enable this to work?

I'm also assuming, having the phone still plugged into USB cable in centre console should be fine?

Do I need to buy the Factory reversing camera plug as an extra? (on instructional video, it doesn't specify)

And lastly, where does a SD card insert into this? Or do I just buy an adaptor to plug into USB?

I've tried contacting Kayhan Audio, but haven't had a response from them from 2 weeks ago.

Regards,

 Keersie

Not too sure on the answers to those

For music I just use google music on the unit with it hot spotted to my mobile.

I got the apple play and google thing adapter, but never bothered using them

Gday im keen to order the version 3 mk2 upgrade for my mk1 with premium sound & reverse camera I use a Samsung but curious if I really need the Android auto wired connection or does everything work via Bluetooth or hot spotting your phone

Secondly has anyone included the front & rear dash cams or are they something that can be easily added later down the track

Dash cam should be easy to add later, I still haven't got mine working but it's just a plug and then run it through, I think mine is having problems cause my led reverse lights but haven't had time to look into it

I use a usb dongle with sim card for android apps on unit - waze, spotify etc. Turns on and off with the headunit.

Use bluetooth for phone functions.

Means I dont have to adjust, plug in or turn on anything when I get in the car

It's been 4 months since the last comment on this thread, " is everybody whom has the FG MKII version still happy with they're purchase? "......after going through the 9 pages of this thread I'm very interested in purchasing a unit.........after range ford ( WA ) quoted me $1500 to upgrade just the GPS in my FG MKII. ( LOL )
