yeah, they've always done those sorts of things... hopefully it makes yours better. I don't even use Android Auto etc.

I don't either, I've been using dedicated apps on the unit, but its really slow because its so old. Hoping this helps a bit, make it feel a bit more modern again. Good sales pitch saying it has android auto/ carplay 😉

I'm interested to see if your aliexpress one actually supports wireless Android Auto or just wireless Apple Carplay... as most units that support wireless Apple Carplay don't support wireless Android Auto, only wired Android Auto.

It's not clear that it works for "wireless Android Auto" based on that listing.  I hope it does for you. It says it does on the "CCPA" version, but I'm not that confident in aliexpress items like that which are ripoffs of hardware that does work which came out via indiegogo or things like that a year or two ago.

Norrs, Could you please tell me if you have the factory Microphone connected to the Kayhan or after market? how do you find the Kayhan unit?

I have the Kayhan V6 MK2 upgrade in my FG MK1 I couldnt get the factory microphone to work so fitted Kayhans microphone it seems to work ok

Do you have any other glitches with your Kayhan V6 ?

I noticed with mine my SEEK buttons below unit are back to front. if I want to move forward to the next song I need to press the backwards seek button. do you have this problem or any other glitches?

Also where did you place the Kayhan external microphone?

Ok I dont have any glitches like that but one annoying thing sometimes maps isnt there I have to refresh the screen, but ive found if I start my journey on the phone first then connect it to the car its ok just gets annoying if you stop for fuel or any quick stops then have to reconnect, its not always the case though

The microphone I just have tucked at the top of the steering column & dash I'll see if it'll let me upload a pic
