An update about as exciting as fresh junk mail in the letter box...

 

Just ordered some Atomic anti pump up lifters, Calico coated bottom end bearings and a set of kvs extreme valve springs with titanium retainers.

 

More expensive sh*t to go with the rest of the expensive sh*t.

 

I've re-evaluated the build and will only be ¾ assing it this time. Might go crazy next year with it, might buy a Prius

In the interest of ¾ assing it, I've decided to use another Athena head gasket and it should be in the post tomorrow. Will use the copper fire ring gasket next time and until then it makes for a unique shelf ornament.

 

Have ordered the remaining bits and bobs today and that's everything.

 

Things are gonna arrive over the next 2 weeks and after that....2 weeks to rebuild and fit the engine, then skids?

 

Might file rings this weekend, might not. Plenty of sh*t to do
