Hey guys, I've bought a dyno and this is a quick post to get the thread started.

 

First up the title can be changed, I'm not sure how to pick a winner, but lets come up with some titles and one will be chosen. Next up, I'll do a proper write up with pictures etc when I get around to it, mebbe an admin type person can update this post when I get it ready.

 

So yerp that's about it for now, should be some fun times ahead

Yeah man a new one is 77k, I got this for half of that. A similar one just sold for 50k so I'm pretty happy with it.

Got sick of waiting so set it up in the driveway. I ran my Honda Integra up a couple of times, plenty more time was spent setting it up and learning the new software but we're here now. Anyhow it made 70kw at the front wheels a few years ago and still makes the same pretty much. Better quality pics will come in the future, the screen was dirty, the sun was reflecting and insert other excuses here.

I have a 5L VN so I chucked that on the dyno today, it made 153rwkw with the air filter on and 161rwkw with it off.

It's not slow but it ain't turbo barra fast

seems like the dyno is going well, though, so that's a plus
