PS anyone got a hot tip for the intermittent fuel backlight issue in evidence above?  Electrical gremlins have finally begun.

A cruise within the next few weeks would be awesome, hopefully car comes back from mechanic all sweet and I can send it to XFT to lower the boost (still gotta see if it comes with a lower boost tune) :(

Ohhh, and I remember something being mentioned last maint day about intake kits/turbo side intakes. I have one in a box at home. Been sitting there for ages, and im no longer looking at using it. All the gear for the battery relocation and turbo side intake (pod filter included). FG obviously.... Its made by a fellow forum member who runs a stainless steel machining buisness (so not plazman or process west), but is based off of them. PM me if anyone wants to buy it. Dont have a pic as "south korea" but can in a couple of weeks.

 

And Steve, need to come around for a games night. got my PC set up now. Can have a sick LAN party. And remidy for your fuel light issue..... just fix it

Bad solder joint, bad bad solder joint.

Yeah I've had that happen on some cheap LED T6 wedge globes but those are much easier to replace.  Disassembling a cluster to get at the board doable or a nightmare?

They are surface mount led.  I have pulled a few apart.  Wouldn't know where to get a new one but could take one from another dash.  I have the equipment and experience to resolder it if it's a bad connection.
