Took the F6 to Barbagallo for the first time. I've driven it at RAC, Collie and the rallysprints, but it felt really at home here.

The grip was the most impressive thing, those NT01s hold on way longer than I expected in the long sweeping corners. Fair amount of wear but a lot of laps.

Really predictable handling from the Shockworks coilovers, set max at the front and a 2-3 notches down on the rear, just cause I couldn't be arsed getting on the ground to change them. It felt perfect anyway, still really balanced, slightly better turn in than I'm used to and the squat under acceleration out of corners felt like it was sticking the car to the ground.

Stock power feels perfect, 195 down the hill (according to the GPS, I saw 202 indicated), and slingshot acceleration up the hills. Still planning to give it a tweak into the low 300rwkw range next year but there's really no need. My car does have that weird dip in the mid range (seen it on a few dyno charts from others) so at least that would go.

Best lap time was 1:09.2, and there's definitely more in it, first time out didn't want to be calling a tow truck.

I gave the keys to a mate and finally got to hear the car from the outside going flat out, stock exhaust sounds awesome! Bloody hell I love this car.

that's a great time. I am at 1.08 but have 100rwkw more. I know the track quite well . Done 1000s of laps on bikes , not that many in a car. Well done.

I'd say with those tyres, that the shocks are set too firm, but if you (the driver) was happy with their response, then I wouldn't worry too much

Awesome work there. Very jelly on this side of the screen.

Your PMs are turned off or your mailbox is full.

Have you played much with the settings for the shockworks at the track? Previous owner of my coilovers mentioned that for normal street duties that 4 at the front and 3 at the rear would do well. However for track work, a firm 6 at the front and back would be best. Maybe give that a go?

Rallysprint round 5, last of the series, got another 10th in class, 33/67 outright and another point taking my total to 3. I think I could've got 9th in class for 2 points, but I had a bit of a 'can't be arsed' feeling this round and the tyres are definitely past their prime. I'm going to run higher tyre pressure with the next ones, been on 32 cold but the fronts are flogged after only 60 minutes of this stuff. My friend runs AD08Rs at 38 cold in his STI and it grips really well.

This is a vid of what would have been my best run, but I clipped a chicane (I think I just ran over the base) and copped a 5 second penalty. My other 3 runs were still good enough for a point and I finally finished ahead of that awesome SS ute you see at the start of the vid!

what kind of track thing is this? looks kinda sketchy to me? darting through car park n narrow lanes etc? or is that the idea? doesnt look too safe if you make a boob boo.

It's our local drag strip. They race through the car park, pits, down the strip and return lane. The kerbs everywhere are the large angle box type aswell.
