Does that boost a spark join into one wire as the site says ? Or one wire on each coil ?

One wire as per the site. It is fitted inline with the coil power feed as it's common to all coils. Once rr psi if boost is reached it bumps the voltage up to a max of around 17.5v

The unit has nothing to do with making power. It allows you to run stock plug gaps in high boost levels.

I don't think you'll find to many 1000hp cars that run stock gaps,completely stock ignition systems or perform as well off boost as a stock car.

It pretty simple to work out if it's working or not. Gap your plugs to 1.1mm. Install the unit. Leave the boost switch disconnected. Go for a drive and you can pretty much guarantee any boost level above around 11lb will cause spark breakdown. Plug the boost switch in and try again. You won't get break down.

I have bypassed the switch and tested the voltage to the coils maxed out it see 17.6v.

I'm not sure If you know who kenne bell are or what they do but they certainly are not in the polariser business.

Testimonials to off boost drivability over on AFF are very encouraging, I'll see if I can find them again.

Not from the original thread but CANFRY was having spark issues with his Miami GT and had this to say

Car made 461rwkw on pump fuel yesterday then 482rwkw after it was installed
Then 495rwkw on united e85
But it's how the car is driving is what makes me happy alot more crisp and heaps more torque down low
Chrisosicko I had cv install it but doesn't seem very hard it's all plug and play and u can call rob as your installing it for instructions also

The coils only have a certain output though normally. It takes a certain minimum voltage for the spark to jump the gap on the plugs, and if the cylinder pressure increases too much it requires more voltage for the same gap, or a smaller gapped plug.

Can't edit the post but here's the thread. Worth a read, the first few pages at least. I do like the idea of plug and play booster, no cutting wires etc so if I was a richer man I'd have had one nine months ago.
