Blew a hole in the header tank, that'll learn me to leave the heatshield off.

Whilst normally not an issue, the pressure cap fell apart inside and all my coolant went outside, must of happened yesterday as it was fine all day. 5 mins into my drive this morning and noticed it just over half (its never been that high before)

Was only a few months old too :(

Those tanks are fairly cheap at least. Think I saw $35 in Philmeup's Tornado resurrection thread.

Yeah maybe it was you that posted that...makes me think I should order another one just because

Also I think about ordering parts like this as a spare for the day when they become hard to track down. I'm unsure if this will happen in a reasonably short time frame or not though. I assume you can still get spares for E series Falcons fairly easily?

Was easy when doing radiator flush to change out, then spend the time to refresh old one.

Which I never got to. Lol.

Yep, get a Dayco DET0003 from somewhere for around $40.
