Street duties ain't going to happen without an expansion tank and cap vent. The pressure build up will pop something. Hose/rad/head gasket etc etc

Ill just run the hose from the thermostat housing to top corner of radiator as per normal and then run a catch can near the factory washer bottle to accept the hose from the filler neck.

Like this.

Yup. that'll work. just make sure the catch can is airtight and the cap has a tube that reach the bottom of the canister.

Does the moroso cap have pressure relief?

That's not mine mate just an example of how I will route the lines.

I am aiming for that level though and on the right track...just putting bay back together now.No air con,no power steering resi, power steer lines routed with bulkheads in wheel arch, all orings deleted and Speedflow fittings welded on for braid/aeroquip hosing, loom modified and re-wrapped,new fuse box etc.

This is the stuff taking the longest with the build the rest is all done ready to go grunt wise.

Got a new coil cover for this rocker cover also and catch can is being custom made to suit the areas shaper near where air con canister once lived.

You'd want it set up pretty much the same as the pic but you'll need a decent overflow bottle if you want to to reclaim any of the coolant when system cools down.

Billet industries make some nice ones similar to this

Then connect it like this (hoses to bottle only)

I'll be doing something similar with this

It would work. Keep in mind the space you've got available as it has to be mounted upright.

Obviously the bigger the better as it will store more coolant before overflowing.

Excellent and I just noticed its a Billet Specialties one.

So the line from the fitting near the cap in your pic does that plumb into the nipple on overflow with the pipe inside or does it plumb into the other nipple that has nothing connected to it on the inside of overflow?
