sh*t ill have a golf. 1000km on a tank. The money you save on fuel should go into a separate account so you can pay for well over price spares. Mate had a vw bora. Sick little car but spare parts where the deal breaker for him.

I had a mk2 Jetta when I lived in the UK, dropped in a mk3 VR6 turbo donk and f*ck it was one of my favourite cars.

My partner has a golf gtx which is gti with all the options (can buy them cheaper than gti here), and spares arent bad you just have to shop around. I wouldn't say it costs anymore to own than the ford spares wise.

you gonna be disappointed with the lack of power in that Golf R. Have fun.... :P

Over 200kw a fat flat torque curve, all wheel drive and 1400kg. I doubt he will be disappointed with the Golf R :)

Then the guy at work that has the Golf R has no idea how to drive. I was not impressed with the power of that car.

Did all the prep work for deleting my expansion tank.

Billet neck and billet weld on filler with MOROSO cap.

Going to make up some billet covers to hide the strut tower bolts each side of bay also.
